Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Contribute directly to UNIDIR's policy-relevant research by producing two fact sheets on relevant space security issues for publication
  • Research and expand a term within their area of expertise for publication in the Space Security Lexicon
  • Research and complete a National Profile fact sheet for the Space Security Portal
  • Optionally develop an independent research commentary under mentorship of UNIDIR experts

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Early-career professional who has completed or is enrolled in a graduate degree in international affairs, political science, international law, public administration, disarmament and arms control, international security or related field
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral) required
  • Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable
  • Ability to participate in virtual discussions, lectures, workshops, and in-person components including annual Fellows Workshop and Outer Space Security Conference
