Research Fellow

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct original research using CIP's proprietary datasets on AI governance and public values
• Work through a distinct thematic lens: Democratic analysis, Communication and Deliberation, or Governance and Institutions
• Develop a research plan, present preliminary findings, and deliver a final academic or public output over six months
• Analyse exclusive multi-country data on public attitudes toward AI

This role creates positive change by conducting research on AI governance and public values, helping to inform better policies and public understanding of artificial intelligence.

Required skills, experience, qualifications:

• Ability to conduct original research using proprietary datasets
• Experience with research planning, presentation of findings, and academic/public output delivery
• Capability to analyze multi-country data on public attitudes
• Availability to participate in bi-weekly virtual lab meetings and collaborate with fellow researchers
