Research Engineer – Cybersecurity RL

• Help safely advance the capabilities of AI models in secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and other areas of defensive cybersecurity
• Design and implement RL environments, conduct experiments and evaluations, and deliver work into production training runs
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists across and outside Anthropic
• Blend research and engineering by developing novel approaches and realizing them in code

This role contributes to creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that are safe and beneficial for users and society, with specific focus on advancing defensive cybersecurity capabilities through reinforcement learning.

• Experience in cybersecurity research
