Research Assistant in Sorbent Characterization

Core responsibilities for the Research Assistant in Sorbent Characterization:

• Conduct characterization of sorbent materials used in direct air capture technology
• Support research and development activities in sorbent development and testing
• Assist with experimental setup, data collection, and analysis in laboratory settings
• Contribute to technical documentation and reporting of research findings

This role contributes to developing scalable direct air capture technology that removes CO₂ from the atmosphere, helping combat climate change and working toward a decarbonized world.

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree program (chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for laboratory work
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for climate action and interest in carbon removal technologies
