Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Support sorbent characterization by analyzing sorbents and their structures for Direct Air Capture (DAC)
- Conduct stability testing including sample preparation, systematic sampling, and CO₂ capacity measurements
- Analyze porosity through N₂ adsorption/desorption isotherms and mercury porosimetry
- Perform adsorption and titration experiments including water adsorption isotherm experiments and acid/base titrations
- Collaborate on development projects with specialists and contribute to method improvement and validation

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Completed apprenticeship as a laboratory technician or higher degree (BSc, MSc) in chemistry, material sciences, or related field
- Hands-on lab experience with techniques such as porous material characterization (N₂ adsorption, Hg porosimetry, DVS) or adsorption testing
- Familiarity with CO₂ capture processes or strong motivation to learn
- Safety mindset with commitment to compliance with all safety standards
- Reliable, solution-oriented, structured personality with concise communication skills
- Fluent in English (German or other languages a plus)
