What you will drive
The Research Analyst/Programme Associate will:
- Conduct rigorous political economy and systems mapping analysis on food system transitions, including fertilizer reform, crop diversification, and subsidy redesign
- Facilitate transdisciplinary engagement with government, researchers, and civil society through consultations and workshops
- Develop policy briefs, reports, and presentations to communicate research insights to diverse audiences
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and collaboration with partners while supporting fundraising and proposal development

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications and skills:
- Master's degree in development studies, sociology, critical agrarian studies, political economy, public policy, anthropology or related interdisciplinary field (Programme Associate) or Bachelor's degree (Research Analyst)
- 1-3 years professional experience for Research Analyst or 3+ years for Programme Associate in research, policy analysis or related field
- Strong foundation in qualitative research methods and social science theories with ability to analyze complex issues with focus on equity and inclusion
- Demonstrated expertise in systems thinking, political economy frameworks, and qualitative methods such as narrative and thematic analysis
