Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and undertake policy research toward the elimination of crop residue burning in Northern India
  • Conduct primary surveys, field visits, and analyze primary/secondary air quality datasets using statistical tools
  • Assist with project implementation including preparing presentations, factsheets, and communication materials
  • Support stakeholder engagement through field travel, coordination with government officials, farmers, and civil societies

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in agricultural engineering, environmental engineering, public policy, environmental science and policy, or economics
  • 3-5 years of work experience with prior experience working with urban local bodies and agri department officials
  • Proficient in data analytical tools like Python or R, and strong proficiency with quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Strong writing skills for emails, opinion pieces, policy briefs, and reports; proficient in English and Hindi
