Research Analyst

As a Research Analyst on GiveWell's Commons team, you will:

• Support the broader research team in identifying cost-effective giving opportunities
• Contribute to GiveWell's decisions about how hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent to save and improve lives in low-income communities
• Play a key role in fulfilling GiveWell's commitment to transparency and ensuring work is accurate and high quality
• Conduct quality checking, write public summaries, answer research questions, summarize monitoring reports, update cost-effectiveness analyses, explore AI tools, and provide project management support

Your work will contribute to GiveWell's decisions about how hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent to save and improve the lives of people living in the lowest-income communities in the world, maximizing global well-being through cost-effective giving opportunities.

• Analytical with ability to interpret messy data, use quantitative reasoning, and explain reasoning

Compensation and benefits include:

• Salary: $108,800 for NYC or San Francisco Bay Area; $98,600 for all other U.S. locations; UK and Canada salaries converted from non-NYC/Bay area salary using historical USD exchange rates
