Reporter/Editor, Editorial Team

• Surface and pitch compelling stories that resonate with audiences by staying abreast of EDF’s work and the news cycle.
• Report, write and edit engaging, human-centered stories across print and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with editors, subject matter experts, and marketing colleagues to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and effective.
• Manage feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining editorial quality.

This role helps inform and engage the public on critical environmental issues, highlighting the human impact of environmental decisions and building trust in EDF as a credible source, thereby driving positive change for the planet.

• At least 6 years of related work experience, preferably in journalism, with comfort in both print and digital writing and editing.
• Excellent research, reporting, and interviewing skills; editing experience preferred.
• Crystal clear, jargon-free, concise, and engaging writing style.
• Ability to generate creative ideas independently and collaborate effectively; strong organizational and time management skills.
