Remote Solar Sales Representative

Core responsibilities:

• Participate in structured training focused on solar energy systems, Company offerings, and the residential sales process
• Engage with prospective customers through Company-provided leads and self-generated opportunities
• Conduct virtual and/or in-person consultations (as applicable) under supervision during training
• Learn and apply Company sales methodologies, scripts, and customer qualification processes
• Assist in scheduling and supporting customer appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and sales activities

This role supports workforce development through solar energy training programs aligned with Illinois' Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) and Illinois Shines initiatives, promoting renewable energy adoption and equitable job opportunities.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of, or participation in, an approved workforce development or training program (e.g., CEJA/Illinois Shines affiliated program)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a performance-driven environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate CRM or sales software tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet access

Compensation and benefits:

• Hourly base pay: $15.00 per hour
• Eligibility for incentive-based compensation following training period
• Additional incentive opportunities may include commission and performance-based bonuses
• Full-time, W2 employment with structured training and development
• Remote work-from-home environment
