Regional Political Desk, Contest Every Race

Core responsibilities:

• Grant teams management: Support success and performance of county Democratic party grant teams in assigned states
• Lead county party partnerships: serve as the point of contact and face of the program, answer questions daily from assigned county party teams, and proactively resolve challenges that arise
• Coach teams to success, supporting them in hitting their outreach and recruitment goals and qualifying for awards by ensuring 85%+ submit required program elements
• Support local Democratic party organizations to identify and support future candidates through the Contest Every Race Recruitment program

This role helps build Democratic Party infrastructure across rural and non-urban communities by training county party leadership and recruiting candidates for local office, creating lasting impact for Democrats up and down the ballot for years to come.

Required qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in electoral organizing or political partnerships with success in developing and winning campaigns
• Volunteer management and engagement experience
• Proficiency in VAN, Google Suite, and Mobilize
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, efficiently raise challenges to the team, and propose actionable solutions
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with Asana, Slack, Loom, Google Suite
• Alignment with Movement Labs' mission and a desire to help build progressive power

Annual salary of $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience, with an additional cost-of-living salary adjustment depending on candidate location. Excellent health, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and unlimited Paid Time Off (limited during Election Sprint, August 24-November 3). $700/month in reimbursable work life stipend to support employees during heavier work periods. Fully remote environment. This position is eligible for the collective bargaining unit.
