About the Role
The role involves providing strategic leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality services are delivered by volunteer groups, aligned with Read Easy UK's strategy.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure volunteer groups consistently deliver high-quality services aligned with Read Easy UK's strategy
- Support local volunteer leaders to strengthen group performance and foster collaboration across affiliated groups
- Find volunteers to pioneer three new groups in counties without Read Easy presence and provide high-quality support to existing groups
- Conduct meetings with Team Leaders, host volunteer forums, and deliver presentations and training for volunteers

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Live within specified areas in West Midlands, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, or Rutland
- At least two years of employment working with volunteers
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to run meetings and deliver presentations

- Annual Salary £25,973 (85% FTE) - £30,385 (100% FTE)
