Regional Accounting Lead - Africa

Our client is a leading multinational company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Accounting Lead to join their team in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting function in the region, providing strategic guidance and direction to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities: Lead the accounting function in the region, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Provide strategic guidance and direction to the accounting team to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Professional certification in accounting (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
