What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate, timely payroll each cycle
- Update and maintain employee handbook, policies, and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes
- Own and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding
- Manage recruiting coordination across roles and teams, partnering with hiring managers to develop role requirements and interview plans

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience across both People Operations and Recruiting, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience at a Series A–C company, ideally scaling from ~50 to 200 employees
- Hands-on experience building/improving HR infrastructure, processes, and systems with automation
- Strong understanding of California employment law and compliance across federal, state, and local laws
