R&D Engineer

• Responsible for Substation Automation & SCADA Domain Consultant
• Develop, deploy and maintain a SCADA system
• Contribute to IEC61850 based engineering concepts and solutions for IED Configuration Tools
• Coordinate on technical front with stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations

This role contributes to developing and maintaining technology, products, and digital solutions for power systems, supporting Hitachi Energy's focus on advancing energy infrastructure and sustainability.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with 3-6 years of experience in system integration, verification, or quality assurance in power systems
• Knowledge in Engineering or development of products/components for substation Automation/SCADA System/Numerical Protection/Process Automation/Power Management Systems/Energy Management Systems
• Knowledge in Implementing or Engineering with Communication protocols: IEC61850
• Knowledge of product integration and system testing and experience in all phases of Software Development cycle, agile testing also test management tools like TFS/MTM, Azure DevOps
