Qlean is looking for ambitious, passionate students to take on a leadership role within one of our Professional Development team. Executives are responsible for contributing to an accessible environment aimed at carrying out the projects within their respective sub team, and most importantly, making students smarter!
Previous Experience on Qlean is NOT Required.
Who are we?
Qlean is a design club for students looking to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills relevant to climate solutions technologies. We are passionate about preparing students for their careers through technical projects and industry connections, bridging the gap between the classroom and real-world experience.
Job Responsibilities:
The Professional Development Executive will form a small team aimed at creating sponsorships and industry connections for Qlean. The point of the PD node is to bridge the gap between the technical side of Qlean and the business world. This role is highly suggested for anyone interested in learning about a sector of engineering that will heavily impact the future. As a PD Executive, you are responsible for leading and participating in a team of people that:
- Maintain current external relations of Qlean.
- Find new sponsorships to fund Qlean projects.
- Connect with industry professionals to run “Speaker Series” where speakers come to campus, share their story, giving students the opportunity to learn, and ask questions.
- Connect with local engineering firms for mentorship opportunities.
- Develop Social Media Content for Qlean
