Qlean is looking for ambitious, passionate students to take on a leadership role within one of our Carbons Solutions Team. Executives are responsible for contributing to an accessible environment aimed at carrying out the projects within their respective sub team, and most importantly, making students smarter!
Previous Experience on Qlean is NOT Required.
Who are we?
Qlean is a design club for students looking to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills relevant to climate solutions technologies. We are passionate about preparing students for their careers through technical projects and industry connections, bridging the gap between the classroom and real-world experience.
Job responsibilities:
The competitive Carbon Solutions team will develop a project for a global competition (Open Air Carbon Removal Challenge), with the opportunity to showcase if they are selected as a finalist. The CS team will consist of a chemical sub-team and a mechanical sub-team, each led by an executive. As an executive (chemical or mechanical) on the CS project, you will be responsible for:
- Scheduling and leading weekly meetings with sub-team general members
- Planning the project outline to guide the team’s work
- Leading general members through project design and construction to support hands-on learning and research skill development
- Monitoring the project timeline and deliverables in accordance with the competition deadlines
