QA Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Champion Quality and best testing practices at every stage of the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis through developing new features to release readiness
• Work with other Quality professionals to ensure End to End testing is automated and regression tests spanning multiple teams are up to date
• Automate tests for APIs and backend services, with minimal UI and manual testing
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and pipelines

This role contributes to Kaluza's mission of accelerating the shift to a clean, electrified future by ensuring the quality and reliability of their Energy Intelligence Platform, which orchestrates millions of real-time decisions across homes, devices, markets and grids to make clean energy dependable, affordable and adaptive to everyday life.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience automating test suites for APIs in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing and software quality assurance lifecycle within Agile methodologies
• Experience with exploratory and other manual testing types
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and client support to ensure test coverage
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Comfortable working in diverse teams and collaborative environments
