Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy a fully functional AI-powered Gender Balance Tracker that analyzes text, images, audio, and video content
• Integrate with AI models like OpenAI or Google Gemini for text gender analysis, computer vision for image analysis, and speech-to-text for audio/video analysis
• Develop a user-friendly web interface with personal user accounts, data storage, and multilingual support (English, Arabic, Ukrainian)
• Produce comprehensive gender balance indicators including quantitative metrics, qualitative analysis, and actionable recommendations

This role creates positive change by developing a tool that will serve as a global evidence and accountability mechanism for advancing gender equality in media, helping newsrooms, journalists, and advocacy organizations identify and address gender bias in content.

Required expertise:

• Proven experience in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision
• Experience with speech-to-text systems and integrating AI models like OpenAI or Gemini
• Experience developing secure backend and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with multilingual NLP and development of media monitoring/analytics platforms (strong advantage)
