What you will drive
Public Relations: opportunity to fully support the Tuesdays for Trash movements PR strategy and execution of press in different phases for our Journey to Away kids book, while organizing key milestones and engaging narratives. Duties include:
Thorough press and media outlet research relative to the work and achievements of the movement and ongoing projects(currently working on a children's book)
Creating and organizing engaging storlines and press pitches for news outlets
Communicating and building relationships with select media outlets
Effectively utilize the movements networks, social media presence and content for distribution
Schedule, coordinate and attend network and press events
Create media kits, press clippings, and partner information packages
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Creativity and passion for environmental work
Strong interest in the PR industry and its best practices
Strong understanding of a wide variety of social networks and conducting internet research
Professional and self-motivated
