What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of high-quality, competitive proposals to secure funding for ForAfrika's programs, coordinating a minimum of 5 live bids at any given time
  • Oversee the end-to-end proposal management process across all markets and client segments, ensuring timely development, compliance, and delivery of submissions
  • Design and drive AI-enabled process improvements to increase proposal quality, speed, and competitiveness
  • Manage proposal operations, tools, templates, and content management systems for efficiency, consistency, and scalability

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum 8 years in international development, with at least 5 years in a senior partnership role focusing on strategic fundraising, competitive bidding, and proposal development
  • Proven experience in proposal development from concept note to full proposal with a record of raising substantial donor funds
  • Deep knowledge of partnerships and funding opportunities for humanitarian and development aid work
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with ability to develop strategic partnerships with C-suite executives, donor representatives, and government authorities
