Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Contribute to the delivery of a broad range of nature recovery projects across the UK as part of the Nature Recovery Team
- Undertake fieldwork including habitat, species and ecological surveys in line with best-practice guidelines
- Produce written ecological reports and technical documentation for different audiences
- Manage, analyze and interpret ecological and environmental data ensuring accuracy and quality
- Support project managers with delivery and potentially lead smaller projects as experience develops

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications and experience:
- At least 2 years' experience working on nature recovery, ecological or environmental projects
- Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Conservation, Environmental Science, Geography or related subject
- Sound ecological knowledge including understanding of natural process-led restoration and rewilding practices
- Experience with habitat survey (particularly UKHab) and good botanical identification skills
- Good working knowledge of GIS software (e.g. QGIS)
- Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle
Benefits
What's in it for you
Salary: £27,027 annually. This is a full-time position with a 12-month fixed term contract from mid-February 2026 to mid-February 2027. The role is UK-based remote with some travel required to sites, client meetings, and management meetings.
