Project Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Execute and deliver projects for utility clients, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and within budget
• Lead cross-functional projects, working closely with clients and partners to ensure successful delivery and value realization
• Manage project scope, track progress, identify and manage risks, maintain accurate schedules, and communicate effectively with clients
• Adhere to project management best practices, monitor project progress, and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders

This role contributes to Uplight's mission of decarbonization and building a more sustainable future by managing projects that create clean energy capacity, making the power grid more efficient and reliable while accelerating the transition to clean energy.

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of Project/Program Management with leadership experience including 3+ years leading complex SaaS projects
• Exceptional project management skills; experience delivering projects for electric utilities or energy projects is a strong plus
• Strong electricity industry knowledge; knowledge of demand response, battery storage, electric vehicles or virtual power plants is a plus
• Outstanding communication skills appropriate for C-suite audiences; ability to track and report on key project metrics

• Salary range: $92,400 to $102,704 CAD + Bonus
