Project Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Project management of prioritized, cross-cutting development projects from start to finish
• Contribute to building and consolidating the Project Management Office (PMO), including application and further development of SSI's common project model and templates
• Quality assurance of projects and status reporting, supporting governance and decision-making processes
• Sparring and support to project managers in the organization and contribution to a learning environment for project management

This role directly supports SSI's mission to prevent and combat infectious and congenital diseases through research, surveillance, diagnosis, and advice by strengthening the implementation of major development projects that support SSI's strategic ambitions, digital infrastructure, and preparedness.

Required qualifications:

• Academic natural science background with understanding of complex laboratory and operational environments
• Solid experience with project management, preferably in a structured project model
• Experience working with steering committees, governance, and management reporting
• Experience with or interest in portfolio management and strategic prioritization
