Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating projects to ensure they meet our organizational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners
- Conduct regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
About the Role
- The Project Manager will work closely with the MEL team to design and implement projects that meet our organizational goals and objectives
- The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- The Project Manager will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, project management, international development)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a development or humanitarian context
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
