Project Manager

• Lead and manage multiple, large-scale energy system projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and close-out activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating potential deviations.
• Oversee and manage project contracts, including negotiations, supplier performance, and compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

This role contributes to delivering complex energy infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting the transition to sustainable energy systems and ensuring reliable power delivery to communities.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline. A master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in project management within the energy sector, with a strong focus on power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is mandatory. In-depth understanding of energy systems, including grid infrastructure, power electronics, automation, and digital solutions.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and standard office applications. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
