Project Manager Engineering

• Coordinate the design team across all disciplines and manage the program with planning engineers for design
• Liaise with project management on engineering budgets, provide forecast cost estimates, and manage subcontracts with supply chain management
• Coordinate and chair design reviews, hazard reviews, and identify/manage additional risks across functions
• Support the Project Manager in overall project risk assessments and work with customers to shape and deliver solutions

This role supports the delivery of safe, robust, and optimal engineering designs for energy transmission and distribution systems, contributing to reliable and efficient energy infrastructure.

• 5 years of electricity supply industry experience with knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV)
• HNC/HND in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
• Good teamwork, analytical, and communication skills with commercial acumen
• Capable of working to tight timescales and understanding of Distribution Network Operator/National Grid standards
