Project Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Work with staff to develop and implement/enhance systems and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality project management
• Manage up to 60 field employees across the nation and supervise Project Managers
• Formulates program-related goals, objectives, operating policies, strategic plans, guidelines, governance, standards, and priorities
• Prepares, negotiates, and monitors program-related contracts and agreements

This role supports the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program to provide surge staff for surveillance, prevention, and response activities, helping address the overdose crisis and protect public health.

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in related field
• 5+ years of experience preferred at the national, state or local level as a public health official
• Specialized knowledge of overdose prevention, surveillance, and response activities
• Professional experience in public health in a project management role with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership

Salary: $100,000 plus benefits. This is a hybrid position with domestic travel requirements.
