Project Finance Associate

• Build, maintain, and optimize project- and fund-level financial models for solar, BESS, EV charging, and powered land assets.
• Support M&A transactions (buy- and sell-side) including valuation, due diligence, and execution.
• Analyze and model PPA and community solar RFP responses to inform bid strategy and pricing.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal approvals and investor discussions.

This role directly accelerates the deployment of renewable energy infrastructure (solar, battery storage, EV charging) by structuring and executing financing that makes clean energy projects viable, contributing to climate change mitigation and a sustainable energy future.

• 3+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, corporate development, or M&A with direct solar/BESS exposure.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills including project cash flows, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and valuation frameworks.
• Familiarity with tax equity structures (e.g., partnership flip) and renewable energy financing mechanics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams.
