Project Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end technical design, engineering, procurement, and construction of commercial and utility-scale solar projects
• Manage internal and external engineering resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective systems that meet safety, performance, and reliability goals
• Conduct technical evaluation including site parameter reviews, shading analysis, structural assessments, and electrical reviews to inform equipment selection and layout
• Provide construction support through technical supervision of contractors, review of shop drawings, and participation in project construction activities

Required skills and qualifications:

• 3-5 years of commercial solar energy system design experience, preferably working with the design of new facilities
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (PE preferred)
• Knowledgeable of NEC code and expertise in solar plant equipment including PV modules, racking systems, inverters, and electrical balance of plant
• Proficiency with PVSyst, System Advisory Model (SAM) programs, AutoCAD, and other solar design software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects

Compensation and benefits:

• Annual base salary: $85,000 - $115,000
