Project Director, California Reparations Education Initiative (Tides Center FSP)

• Lead day-to-day strategy and execution for a statewide initiative advancing reparations education and advocacy.
• Build and manage partnerships with community leaders, nonprofits, and regional partners.
• Establish operations, infrastructure, and systems to support a growing initiative.
• Support fundraising and sustainability through grant management and donor cultivation.

This role advances public education, coalition-building, and support for comprehensive reparations in California, contributing to racial equity and justice.

• 7+ years in program leadership, campaigns, or coalition-building.
• Familiarity with racial justice movements and networks, ideally in California.
• Experience launching new programs or building systems from scratch.
• Strong project management, stakeholder alignment, and communication skills.

Competitive compensation package with salary range $145,000-$165,000/year and robust benefits. Fully remote role with travel within California 2-3 times per quarter.
