Project Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary project management lead across Living Carbon's active carbon project portfolio, owning timelines, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects advance toward financeability and registration
• Build, manage, and continuously improve cross-functional workflows that connect our Forestry, Carbon, Finance, and Land teams around shared project development goals
• Prepare and maintain structured project reporting, synthesizing field activities, milestones, and risks into clear materials for project finance partners and investor updates
• Own and manage reporting deliverables to capital and project finance stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of project-level data and status updates

This role sits at the center of one of the most ambitious reforestation and carbon removal programs in the country, helping transform marginal land into high-value environmental assets that fight climate change through natural climate solutions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 4-7 years of experience in project management, product management, product operations, consulting, or a generalist business role, ideally in a startup, growth-stage company, infrastructure, or climate-adjacent environment
• Demonstrated track record of building and managing cross-functional workflows and keeping diverse teams aligned toward a common deliverable
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical or complex information into clear, actionable narratives for both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, environmental science, economics, or a related field
