Project Developer

Core responsibilities:

• Lead the development and structuring of utility-scale renewable energy projects from early opportunity through to financial close
• Manage negotiations for project acquisitions and coordinate internal/external development efforts including securing land, permits, interconnection rights, and financing
• Implement project controls processes (scheduling, cost controls, contract management) and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies while undertaking market reviews and regulatory analysis

This role contributes to delivering competitive and sustainable renewable energy globally, protecting the environment and improving quality of life through innovative technology integration in the renewable energy sector.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Law (Master's a plus) with 5-7 years of professional experience in renewable energy, project finance, or management consulting
• Experience with closing complex transactions, deal structuring, and renewable energy project development in emerging markets
• Understanding of electricity markets, power purchase agreements, and financial analysis with expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Advanced project management skills, strong business acumen, analytical abilities, and fluent English communication skills
