Project Coordinator/Geospatial Analyst

Core responsibilities:

• Lead data collection and creation/delivery of geospatial analysis and tools for partner needs
• Provide technical coordination of restoration, monitoring, and related activities within environmental networks
• Develop and maintain partner relationships through meetings, presentations, and communication
• Support the Conservation Innovation Center in delivering GIS data and developing user-friendly tools

This role improves local water quality and wildlife habitat in the Chesapeake Bay watershed through data-driven collaboration and GIS-based tools that support environmental restoration efforts.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resource management, or related field with GIS coursework
• 1-3 years experience coordinating with multiple organizations and building trust/rapport
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Esri's ArcGIS Desktop/ArcPro/ArcOnline
• Strong written/oral communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Salary range: $58,000 - $65,000. Hybrid work arrangement with option to work from home most days. Paid travel for occasional on-site visits (6-12 per year). Opportunities for growth with additional duties as assigned.
