Project and Software Capability - FP&A Team Lead

Core responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast, including benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers.
• Business partnering with Local controllers to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance, identify trends, and propose value-add solutions.
• Prepare financial analysis for various scenarios, support month-end closure activities, and ensure accuracy of financials through P&L and B/S reviews.
• Lead the team on key projects related to accounting and finance transformation, influence strategy, and support preparation of financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

This role contributes to improving financial performance by analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, and recommending actions, supporting Hitachi Energy's mission to advance a sustainable energy future for all.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Degree in accounting - Qualified CMA/CA/MBA/CPA/CIMA/master’s from professional institutions.
• More than 8-10 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with experience in GCC Set up as an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in SAP FICO including CO-PA and understanding of other modules like SD, PS.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with skills in optimizing performance through automated solutions and process standardization.
