Programs Consultant

• Develop and maintain project workplans, timelines, and milestone trackers; monitor progress and coordinate across stakeholders.
• Coordinate parent leader meetings, including logistics, materials, and follow-up communications.
• Support special programming, workshops, community events, and digital organizing campaigns.
• Assist with fundraising, grant research, and reporting; develop content for communications and social media.

This role empowers parent leaders in special education advocacy, strengthening community organizing and ensuring families have the resources and support to navigate educational systems effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in nonprofit program coordination, workshop delivery, and community organizing.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) and lived or professional experience with special education preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain own consulting practice.

Rate: $38-$45/hour (commensurate with experience). Project-based contract; consultant responsible for own taxes, insurance, and business expenses. No employee benefits provided.
