Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day implementation of in-country PHIT activities, ensuring alignment with regional frameworks, standards, and timelines, as well as national health strategies.
- Provide technical guidance to Ministry of Health and PMU on PHC, service delivery models, digital health and health workforce development.
- Actively monitor programme implementation on the ground through field visits and exchange of information with partners/stakeholders to assess progress, identify bottlenecks, and take timely decisions.
- Serve as UNICEF's primary in-country focal point for PHIT activities, maintaining effective relationships with government counterparts, UN system partners, and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications:
- Advanced university degree in public health, health policy, health systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in health system strengthening, public health programming, or related areas.
- Experience working with government health systems, digital health innovations, and health workforce development.
- Strong skills in monitoring and evaluation, financial planning, and partnership coordination.
