Programme Officer – Latin America and the Caribbean

Core responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day relationships with Degrees' research groups in Latin America and the Caribbean region
• Ensure smooth grant administration, including onboarding, payments, and administrative support
• Support regional events and international workshops in collaboration with the Events Manager and other teams
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes for programmatic activities

This role supports climate change research and capacity building in developing countries through grant administration and regional collaboration, helping vulnerable communities adapt to climate impacts.

Required qualifications:

• University degree in relevant subject (international development, international relations, public policy, or earth sciences)
• At least two years of experience
• Understanding of climate change science and associated development challenges
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Legal right to work in the UK
