Programme Lead/ Senior Programme Lead – Industrial Sustainability

Core responsibilities:

• Build and expand the industrial sustainability programme in sectors like green hydrogen, industrial decarbonisation, and carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS)
• Conduct high-quality research to provide direction, support, and insights to policy planners and industry leaders on decarbonisation options
• Supervise and mentor Programme Associates and Research Analysts while managing a multi-disciplinary team
• Develop and maintain networks across government and industries to shape programmatic strategy and strengthen outreach

This role supports India's low-carbon growth aspirations by advancing green hydrogen adoption and developing initiatives to accelerate industrial decarbonisation, helping reduce emissions in hard-to-abate sectors like steel, cement, and chemicals.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Master's degree in chemical, energy, industrial, production, mechanical engineering or related graduate courses
• 6-14 years of relevant work experience in research, policy/industry engagement and project management in fossil fuels, alternative fuels and industrial decarbonisation
• Ability to conduct techno-economic analysis, cost & benefit analysis, material-energy balances, with sound knowledge of basic economic principles
• Proficiency in Excel essential; experience with Python or Matlab is a plus
