What you will drive

  • Support grant-related administrative tasks for community engagement, K-12 environmental education, and watershed/habitat restoration projects.
  • Conduct field work to assess proposed and completed restoration projects.
  • Complete an independent project related to watershed, restoration, or forestry issues, such as a data-based outreach strategy for the Urban Trees program.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at a Maryland college/university with a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
  • Undergraduates must be entering or continuing sophomore, junior, or senior year in fall 2026.
  • Interest in urban and community forestry and data analysis preferred; strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; reliable transportation and willingness to work nights/weekends.
