Program Operations Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Support the Blue Resilience Initiative and team members in collaborating with domestic and international partners to advance nature-based solutions and coastal habitat restoration globally
• Manage program operations including knowledge management, fundraising support, travel and event logistics, and monitoring and evaluation systems
• Ensure all programmatic information and documentation is properly tracked in internal systems like Google Drive and Salesforce
• Support efforts to foster greater diversity, equity and inclusion in the design and execution of all TOF programs

This role supports coastal habitat restoration and nature-based solutions worldwide through the Blue Resilience Initiative, helping to protect ocean ecosystems and promote environmental sustainability.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/nonprofit administration, operations management, computer science, or financial management (or 3+ years related experience)
• Demonstrated ability to manage detail-oriented workstreams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Salesforce and Asana experience a plus)

Salary range: $55,000-$65,000 USD annually. Remote work option with DC office access available. Travel up to 10% of the year may be required. The Ocean Foundation is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
