About
The Program Manager will lead and scale youth and young adult workforce development programs, providing technical assistance, training, and capacity building support to youth-serving organizations across Texas.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale youth and young adult workforce development programs and provide technical assistance, training, and capacity building support to youth-serving organizations across Texas
- Manage TNOYS' apprenticeship programming and curricula development, including developing work-based learning programs compliant with state and federal standards
- Conduct research on workforce development models, youth homelessness prevention, and needs of youth-serving providers and young adults
- Manage execution of TNOYS training events such as conferences, webinars, and in-person meetings, including planning, promotion, and logistics
Requirements
- This position requires a strong understanding of workforce development, youth homelessness prevention, and the needs of youth-serving providers and young adults
- Experience in program management, technical assistance, and capacity building with youth-serving organizations
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct research and analyze data to inform program development and implementation
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute large-scale training events
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership-building
Nice to Have
- Experience with apprenticeship programming and work-based learning models
- Familiarity with state and federal workforce development standards and regulations
- Strong knowledge of Texas-specific workforce development initiatives and policies

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred in social work, education, public policy, public health, or related field)
- Minimum 3 years of program and project management experience
- Ability to build effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders across public, private, and plural sectors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management
- Comfortable in fast-paced startup atmosphere and remote work environment
