Program Manager, Global Programs

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of direct programs and external grantees across multiple regions, ensuring progress against approved scopes, timelines, budgets, and outcomes
• Translate high-level strategy into executable plans with milestones, outputs, and outcomes, tracking program progress and risks
• Support community-centered program design by incorporating local insights and needs assessments, establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders
• Support the development and use of measurement frameworks for programs and grants, ensuring appropriate data collection and contributing to reporting

This role creates positive change by ensuring programs deliver sustainable progress and better futures for Africans and the African Diaspora through agriculture, conservation, food security, education, youth advocacy, and social justice, translating strategy into execution that maintains deep community trust and local relevance.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in program management, grant oversight, or community development, preferably in nonprofit, international development, or social impact settings
• Strong execution skills with ability to manage complexity, follow through, and hold partners accountable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and comfort working across cultures and time zones
• Experience working with international partners or grantees, familiarity with infrastructure-adjacent programs, and fluency in English

Compensation: $25/hour, up to 15 hours per week. The role offers meaningful ownership and accountability, with opportunities for international travel and working with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.
