Program Manager, Global Groups

Core responsibilities for the Program Manager, Global Groups role:

• Build and nurture a global community of people thinking carefully about the world's pressing problems and taking impactful action to solve them
• Foster and empower the community by running conferences, supporting hundreds of local groups, and providing online resources and forums for discussion
• Work with students and young professionals to help them learn about pressing problems and find support/mentorship to help solve them

This role helps build a world where leaders, thinkers, and philanthropists are guided by impartially altruistic, truth-seeking principles, which could help reduce existential risk, poverty, and suffering while building a more resilient and flourishing world.

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Experience in program management, community building, or related fields
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including students, young professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs
• Strong organizational and coordination skills for managing conferences, local groups, and online resources
• Alignment with effective altruism principles and values
