Mission

What you will drive

  • Coordinate the successful implementation of LSST-DA's scientific programs and initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Administer fellowships, grants, and awards, including monitoring reporting schedules and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate communications with program participants, reviewers, and partners, and support meetings and events.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve program workflows and operational systems.

This role enables the LSST Discovery Alliance to maximize the scientific impact of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time by ensuring that programs are well-coordinated, participants are supported, and operations run smoothly, ultimately advancing astronomical discovery.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in program coordination, project coordination, research administration, nonprofit administration, or higher education administration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
