Program Consultant - Waste Diversion

• Provide waste management technical assistance and program information to customers and prospects over phone and email.
• Produce written content such as emails, newsletters, reports, web content, and presentations.
• Assist with virtual and in-person events, including planning logistics, hosting meetings, recruiting speakers, and networking.
• Perform research on alternative outlets for waste materials and enter data into tracking platforms.

This role directly helps businesses reduce waste through recycling, composting, and waste diversion, contributing to environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation.

• At least 2 years of customer service and written communications experience, or 3-4 years of customer service and written deliverable experience.
• 1 year of waste-related field experience preferred.
• Excellent writing skills and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with spreadsheets and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
