Program Associate On-Demand Youth Leadership Program

Core responsibilities:

• Work with Legacy's ODYLP Program Director and community-based partner to plan and execute day-to-day program logistics
• Serve as group leader/counselor for participants, guiding 16 international students through leadership development and community-based project planning
• Coordinate pre-program setup including communication channels, participant data organization, visa procurement, and logistics for cultural/educational site visits
• Travel with the group during the U.S. program, providing mentorship, safety coordination, health monitoring, and social media documentation

This role creates positive change by developing the next generation of global leaders through youth exchange programs, fostering practical skills, innovation, and cross-cultural understanding that strengthens communities worldwide.

Required qualifications:

• Experience with exchange programs, group travel programs, or as a university resident advisor/camp counselor with teens
• Experience organizing and leading group-building activities and using cloud-based collaboration tools (Google Drive, Docs, Forms)
• Social media storytelling experience and ability to handle multiple tasks while managing details for large groups
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to work in intensive environments with limited personal time
• Permanent U.S. residency and age 22+ (international travel experience and Washington, D.C. familiarity preferred)

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $15,750 (gross/pretax)
