Production Surveillance Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Production Surveillance Engineering team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while driving operational excellence across all Iceland sites.
• Maximize CDR output and Mammoth run rate through operational surveillance and ongoing optimization.
• Ensure operational effectiveness by monitoring and improving availability, performance, and recovery across all Iceland sites and own reporting on energy, production, and operating costs.
• Analyze plant data to identify and validate improvement projects and drive integration of digital tools into daily operations.

This role accelerates the global transition to net zero by maximizing carbon removal output through operational excellence and data-driven improvements, directly contributing to high-quality carbon removal solutions that unlock economic value for businesses, governments, and society.

Required qualifications:

• B.Sc. degree or equivalent in process engineering, chemical engineering, or related discipline with at least 6 years of experience in plant operation, maintenance, and team leadership within process engineering or related industry.
• Proven track record in operational surveillance, troubleshooting, and executing improvement projects in scale-up environments.
• Strong data analysis abilities using SQL and Python, with experience in dashboarding tools such as Seeq, PowerBI, or Grafana.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator, business fluent in English, with willingness to travel up to 30%.
