Mission

What you will drive

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for Scout Motors' Integrated Business Planning (IBP) platform, defining requirements, planning logic, user experience, and decision support.
  • Define and evolve the core planning artifact—demand outlook, production plan, procurement constraints, capacity, inventory, financial impacts, scenarios, risks, decisions, and actions—to serve as the single source of truth for executive planning.
  • Manage backlog refinement, write user stories, set acceptance criteria, and validate delivered features to ensure they support end-to-end IBP execution.
  • Drive platform adoption and continuous improvement through training, iteration, and feedback loops, making the platform the trusted tool for executive decision-making.

Impact

The difference you'll make

This role builds the production-grade Integrated Business Planning platform that will coordinate demand, supply, capacity, and decisions as Scout Motors scales to volume production of electric vehicles, enabling efficient and sustainable manufacturing that reduces environmental impact.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 12+ years in product ownership/management, supply chain/operations planning, S&OP/IBP, or related analytical/transformation roles, ideally with ownership of a product or platform.
  • Deep fluency in S&OP/IBP processes including demand and supply planning, capacity and procurement constraints, inventory and financial implications, scenario planning, and executive decision forums.
  • Product mindset with ability to prioritize ruthlessly, say no, and own outcomes; experience as a Product Owner/Manager on software products with agile delivery fluency.
  • Data and KPI literacy, familiarity with supply chain metrics, and experience with planning tools (APS, ERP, or custom solutions); cross-functional leadership without formal authority.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Competitive compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, income protection plans; 401(k) with employer match and immediate vesting; generous PTO (20 days planned, 40 hours unplanned, 14 holidays); up to 16 weeks paid parental leave; paid bereavement, jury duty, voting, and military leave. Annual performance bonus program. Base salary range: $160,000 - $192,500.
