How to Apply for Product Lead Connectivity (all genders)

at GridX

🏢 About GridX

GridX is pioneering a decentralized and intelligent virtual power plant platform, uniquely positioning itself at the intersection of sustainable energy management and digital technology. Working here means contributing directly to the energy transition by enabling smarter grid integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), offering a remote-first culture focused on impactful innovation in the EU energy sector.

About This Role

This Product Lead Connectivity role involves end-to-end ownership of connectivity products, from strategic roadmap definition based on market analysis to launching integrations and managing a small team. It's impactful because you'll directly expand GridX's ecosystem by driving partnerships with OEMs and delivering key integrations that enable the virtual power plant to connect more devices and assets.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might involve morning stand-ups with your product team to review integration progress, followed by deep work on roadmap planning based on market analysis of DER trends. Afternoons could include cross-functional meetings with the growth team to advance OEM partnership discussions and budget reviews for connectivity initiatives, capped by mentoring sessions with team members on product best practices.

🎯 Who GridX Is Looking For

  • Has 8+ years of deep, hands-on experience in DER (Distributed Energy Resources) integration OR SaaS/IoT energy management platforms, with a preference for candidates who have worked in both domains.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record in running and scaling OEM partnership programs, particularly in European and Asian markets, with existing networks and success in cloud-to-cloud integration launches.
  • Possesses strong product leadership skills, including crafting product roadmaps, defining requirements, and prioritizing initiatives, coupled with experience mentoring 2-3 product team members.
  • Is adept at cross-functional leadership, able to collaborate with growth teams to certify partners and define/track success metrics that inform strategic product decisions.
