Producer Lead

• Develop and lead outreach strategy to inform producers about available services, programs, and incentives.
• Supervise regional Technical Assistance Providers and serve as main point of contact for outreach strategy, logistics, and producer coordination.
• Oversee administration of Wool Improvement Stipend, Market Innovation Fund, and Practice Implementation Fund.
• Lead regional project planning, outreach, and education methods; gather data for USDA reporting.

This role advances sustainable agriculture and strengthens wool markets, supporting conservation practices and improving livelihoods for producers in the Intermountain West.

• BA/BS in agriculture, environmental science, natural resource management, conservation, or related field, plus minimum 5 years farming experience (or equivalent).
• Supervisory experience required; strong knowledge of farming/ranching systems, ideally in conservation or sustainability.
• Experience in contracting, grant management, and compliance; familiarity with NRCS or similar programs.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to create processes and track multiple projects.
